Barcelona plot US$1bn Barca Media SPAC and sell Barca Vision stake for €120m - SportsPro Media - August 14th
Spanish soccer champions Barcelona plan to float their Barca Media content creation business arm on the Nasdaq stock exchange and other financial markets through a US$1 billion special purpose acquisition company (SPAC).
Ahead of the SPAC, Barcelona have sold a 29.5 per cent stake in Bridgeburg Invest, the holding company of Barca Vision, for €120 million (US$131 million) to German firm Libero Football Finance and private investors.
NFL Team Valuations 2023: Cowboys Worth $9.2B, Average Tops $5B - Sportico - August 8th

Retired National Football League (NFL) star Tom Brady has become a minority owner of English second-tier soccer club Birmingham City. Brady has partnered with the club’s holding company Knighthead Capital Management and becomes chairman of a new advisory board.
